This Privacy Policy describes how FecdiVibe ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our iOS mobile application.
FecdiVibe helps you interpret your cat or dog's visible body language from photos you choose to upload.
About FecdiVibe: FecdiVibe is a pet mood-reading companion—not a veterinary service.
You can capture or select a pet photo, receive an AI-assisted mood interpretation (score, label, and an optional playful quote),
review history in Mood, get a Care Plan, and manage your pet profile and coin wallet locally on your device.
No account registration is required.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may process the following categories of information:
Information you provide
- Pet profile details — such as pet name, species (cat or dog), life stage, housing type, spay/neuter status, and optional concerns you enter during onboarding or in Profile.
- Photos you select or capture — pet images you choose for mood analysis in the Translate tab.
- AI consent choice — whether you have agreed to send photos for AI processing.
Information generated by the App
- Mood readings — mood score, label, fun quote, timestamps, and locally saved thumbnails linked to your readings.
- Care Plan activities — personalized activity suggestions generated from your latest mood reading.
- Virtual coin balance — coins earned through in-app purchases and spent when you confirm a paid analysis.
- Purchase records (local) — identifiers of processed App Store transactions stored on-device to prevent duplicate coin grants.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address inside the App, or sign in.
- We do not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or social-login SDKs in the current version of the App.
- We do not request location, microphone, contacts, or notification permissions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide mood analysis and display results in Mood and Care Plan.
- Store your pet profile and reading history on your device for your convenience.
- Operate the virtual coin wallet and confirm coin spending before analysis.
- Process in-app purchases through Apple's App Store and credit coins to your local balance.
- Remember your AI consent preference and allow you to revoke it in Profile.
- Improve reliability and security of App features.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Local Storage vs. Server Storage
Most FecdiVibe data stays on your device:
- NSUserDefaults — pet profile fields, onboarding completion, coin balance, AI consent flag, and processed IAP transaction markers.
- App Documents directory — mood reading index (
readings.json), saved reading images, and Care Plan data.
FecdiVibe does not operate a user account backend in the current version.
We do not maintain a centralized cloud profile tied to your identity.
4. AI Features & Image Processing
When you run a photo analysis and have granted AI consent, the App encodes your selected image as JPEG data and sends it—together with an analysis prompt—
over encrypted HTTPS to a third-party AI API (default endpoint: api.vveai.com, chat-completions style service; model configured in the App, default gpt-4o).
- You are shown a consent sheet before the first analysis explaining that photos are sent to a third-party AI provider.
- You can revoke consent in Profile; you will be asked again before the next analysis.
- Before spending coins, the App asks you to confirm the coin deduction.
- AI output (score, label, fun quote) is saved locally with your reading history.
- If the AI service is not configured in the App build, a local mock result may be used for development or testing.
FecdiVibe does not control the third-party AI provider's internal retention or training practices.
We request analysis results only for delivering the feature to you.
Do not upload images you are not comfortable sharing with an external AI processor.
Important: Mood readings are for entertainment and general wellness inspiration only.
They are not veterinary diagnoses or medical advice.
5. Device Permissions

6. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third parties:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — in-app purchase processing for virtual coin packs.
- Third-party AI API provider — processes pet photos you submit for analysis (see Section 4).
- Apple iOS system frameworks — camera, photo picker, networking, and local storage.
The App's third-party libraries (Masonry, ReactiveObjC) are development frameworks and do not independently collect user analytics in our integration.
7. Data Sharing
We may share information only in these situations:
- AI processing: pet photos and prompts you submit are transmitted to the configured AI API provider to generate your mood read.
- Apple: purchase and payment data when you buy coin packs through the App Store.
- Legal: if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
8. Data Retention
- Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- You can clear mood history (readings, photos, and Care Plan) from Profile → Clear mood history.
- Revoking AI consent does not automatically delete past readings; use Clear mood history if you want local data removed.
- Third-party AI providers may retain data according to their own policies; we do not operate that infrastructure.
9. Data Deletion & Your Controls
Because FecdiVibe does not use cloud accounts, "deletion" is handled on your device:
- Clear mood history — removes saved readings, associated images, and your current Care Plan.
- Revoke AI consent — stops future photo uploads to the AI service until you agree again.
- Uninstall the App — removes locally stored App data subject to iOS behavior.

10. Security
We use HTTPS for AI API requests and rely on iOS platform protections for local storage.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Please keep your device passcode and Apple ID secure.
11. Children's Privacy
FecdiVibe is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and we will assist with local deletion steps where applicable.
12. International Users
If you use FecdiVibe outside your home country, your information may be processed on your device and transmitted to AI infrastructure that may operate in other jurisdictions.
By using the App, you understand that such transfers may occur to provide AI analysis.
13. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information.
- Manage Camera and Photo Library access in iOS Settings.
- Control AI consent and clear local history inside the App.

The current version of FecdiVibe does not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) or cross-app tracking.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Policy.
